National Voter Registration Day

Written by on September 22, 2020

Every day of the year has one of those weird holidays to celebrate. We mostly celebrate days for food or our pets like National Dog Day, National Cat Day, International Beer Day. But today is more than a goofy holiday.

It is National Voter Registration Day. A day to help bring attention to getting registered to vote. As an American citizen, (whether you are Polish-American or not) you have the right to voice your opinion. Today is the day to make sure you are able to do that.

Registration deadlines are: October 6th if registering by mail, October 18th online, and November 3rd in person. Make sure you are ready and registered to vote this year!

Here is the website where you can register to vote in Illinois. Do yourselves and everyone else a favor, and get registered.

Just a friendly reminder from someone who doesn’t know too much about politics! 🙂
