Things Are Re-Opening. Here’s Where We Can Go Visit Soon in Chicago!
Written by Greg Bartusiak on February 16, 2021
Things are re-opening soon in Chicago. Bars and restaurants can now serve up to 50 people or a 40% capacity as on today.
But for those looking for other things to do, the museums in Chicago are opening up again! The Shedd Aquarium had a soft re-opening earlier in February and have determined it is safe for guests to come visit again (with restrictions.) To get more visitors, they are offering free days for the last week of February from the 22nd to the 26th! Any Illinois resident can visit the aquarium for free as long as they register online earlier and show proof of residency upon the visit. You can register for free tickets on the Shedd’s website and find more information about it here.
Another re-opening to be excited about is the Lincoln Park Zoo. They are open to the public starting March 5th and will be having a Bears and Beers event as a fundraiser for zoo pandemic relief funds. You can find out more about it and sign up for the event here.
With so much re-opening in the city, we have a lot to look forward to. (Mostly all of this snow melting away first!)
