DJ K1K / Resident DJ / Party Zone

DJ K1K real name is Chris Kuhn has been tearing up the turntables since the mid 90’s and joined the Party Zone team in April 2025.  Inspired early on by Chicago DJs like Bad Boy Bill, Julian Perez, Bobby D, DJ Marksi, and To Kool Chris with their amazing talent behind the turntables.  He picked up his first pair of turntables as a teenager and spent most of his time practicing in his parent’s basement.  Weekends were spent at the record shops like Superdance and Jumpin Muzik looking for the newest releases and hanging out with the fellow DJs.  As the years progressed, he played college parties then joined a company playing at weddings and private events.  These days you can find him playing at local bars and special events.  Mixing music has always been his greatest passion and has been his biggest help in stressful times.  Music is the medicine of the soul and brings you a feeling of escape from reality.  Follow him on Facebook @djk1k or instagram.
