“Weekend $500+” Weekly Contest / Raffle Rules

Overview

Golf Mill Ford (“GMF”) will award a $500 prize “the Prize” to a single winner of “Weekend $500+” contest/raffle (“the Contest”) each Friday when the contest is advertised on WPNA 103.1FM Polish American Mix (“the Radio”) starting on Friday, December 7^th 2018. To participate, one will have to send an SMS message, answer a simple question via telephone, visit a website, or perform another task of promotional value as determined by Golf Mill Ford and/or the Radio. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.

Eligibility

To participate, one must be a legal resident of the USA at least 18 years of age on the day the Contest takes place. Each person is allowed to participate only once during any 12-month period. If the Winner has won the Contest during the 12-month period preceding the Contest date, he or she will be disqualified and will not receive the Prize. The Radio will make an attempt to select another winner on the same Friday; if unsuccessful, the Prize will be awarded on the next Friday when the contest is advertised.

Employees of GMF, 103.1FM Radio, the Contest’s participating sponsors and their advertising agencies, employees of other radio or television stations, and members of the immediate family of any such persons are not eligible to participate and win.  The term “immediate family” includes spouses, siblings, parents, children, grandparents, and grandchildren, whether as “in-laws,” or by current or past marriage(s), remarriage(s), adoption, co-habitation or other family extension, and any other persons residing at the same household whether or not related.

Winner Selection

The winner will be selected by the Radio’s representative advertising the Contest at its sole discretion and such decision will be final. The Radio will collect from the Winner his or her full name and address and forward the information collected via e-mail to GMF designated employees. By participating in the Contest, the Winner(s) agrees to provide his or her full name and address to the Radio and further agrees for the information collected to be shared with GMF.

Time and Place of the Prize Award Meeting

The Prize will be available to be received by the Winner on the first Wednesday or Saturday following the Contest, between 9:00 a.m. and noon. The Winner will receive the price at Golf Mill Ford, 9401 N. Milwaukee Ave. Niles, IL 60714 or at WPNA 103.1FM, 6100 N. Cicero Ave., Chicago, IL 60646; each week, GMF at its sole discretion will select the place from the two locations listed . The Prize will be awarded in a form of a check payable to the Winner. A form of legal identification will be required prior to issuing the check.

Publicity Release

By participating in the Contest, the Winner grants GMF and the Radio to use its name, voice recordings, and likeness in a form of pictures or video recordings to be used for promotional purposes on any media for an unlimited period of time without additional compensation (except where prohibited). The winner agrees to be photographed, video filmed, and/or voice recorded.

Taxes and Prize Transfer/Substitution

Winners are liable for any tax liability accruing as a result of this promotion. This promotion is void where prohibited. No transfer or assignment of the Prize is permitted. Instead of the cash Prize of $500, the Winner may decide to receive a credit of $1000 towards a purchase of a new or used vehicle from GMF.

Entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of GMF, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this promotion.

Liability

By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to release and hold harmless GMF, the sponsors, its officers, directors, employees, and agents (the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in this promotion, or receipt or use of any prize, including, but not limited to: unauthorized human intervention in the promotion; technical errors; printing errors; errors in the administration of the promotion or the processing of entries; or injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the promotion or acceptance, receipt use or misuse of any prize. Entrant further agrees that in any cause of action, the Released Parties’ liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the promotion, and in no event shall the Released Parties be liable for attorney’s fees. Entrant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, incidental, consequential, direct, or indirect damages. By entering this promotion, entrants acknowledge that they have read and understood and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
